Researcher
I have a PhD in psychology and have mainly done research in areas like self & identity, learning, the psychology of the body, mindfulness, narrative practice and coaching.
I have always been driven by my own inquisitiveness coupled with a focus on the social relevance of my research.
The current research politics in Denmark are frightening, and I wonder how long academia can preserve its freedom and independence.
My research in coaching as narrative-collaborative practice has resultet in a book publication with the title “A Guide to Third Generation Coaching“.
In 2010-11 I have been responsible for a research project based on narrative group coaching. It was a radomized control study in combination with a number of qualitative studies about how coachees have experienced coaching and have changed in the process.
The participants have been young talents in sport. The intervention had a focus on the complexity of their life situation. The study is published.
